Bent on murdering Zeus, you are almost immediately face-to-face with Poseidon and his enormous, parasitic watery horse. God of War III promptly picks up where it left off. God of War II left Kratos, the vengeful protagonist, on his way up Mount Olympus on the back of a titan, Gaia. A third person action/adventure game, God of War III is as blood-thirsty and unforgiving as those that came before. But tapping into his uncontrollable rage seems to be the only path forward. Kratos believes he has served his purpose in the world, which is why he ran away from these challenges in the first place. And thatвЂ™s arguably RobertsonвЂ™s intention. Whatever lesson Kratos is meant to learn, itвЂ™s a abundantly clear that the answer is unclear. What purpose do these monsters serve? Who is sending them to Kratos? These are the questions readers continue to ask. Despite defeating the Chaos Beast moments before, an even greater monster takes its place.

Running from the challenges facing the demigod clearly isnвЂ™t working, so heвЂ™s decided to unleash his rage once again.
